Company can make employees choose to leave by leveraging Powerlessness.

To make employees feel powerless, go through the following processes:

  1. Arrange work that makes employees uncomfortable.
  2. Make employees think they can’t change the status quo.
  3. Make employees think this uncomfortable work will continue, leading to negative mood.
  4. Make employees think they can’t control the future.
  5. Employees feel powerless, physically and mentally exhausted, and eventually choose to leave.

When you find that your employees are asking to leave, you can check if the team has these situations or feeling of having no power.
